
I am pleased to inform you that OEBAC call and e-mail response times have now returned to normal following a surge of higher-than-normal activity, combined with staff shortages due to illness.
The OEBAC team has been working extremely hard throughout this period to assist members, answer queries and process claims as quickly as possible.
I would like to thank all our members for their patience and understanding over the past several weeks. A special thanks also goes to the staff at OEBAC and at the union head office, who went above and beyond, working overtime to cover staffing shortages caused by illness and help resolve members' claims, clearing all backlogs. We remain committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality coverage to our members and their families.
